You're doing it wrong and recommending the wrong method to others. The propeller shaft must be secured at the center universal joint against twisting using a suitable tool, like a large screwdriver. Using a pipe wrench to secure it will cause damage. The hub teeth should be cleaned and coated with a suitable grease like Optimol Olistamoly, NOT Loctite. Loctite is used for nut threads, and a new sunk nut is already coated with it.

This method only works with keys purchased from the BMW dealership ordered by the VIN. I just had a customer call me about getting a new key for his 2020 BMW 430i convertible. I told him that he needed to order it from the BMW dealership, and he told me that they wanted $1000.00 for one key.😮

How can I change the miles interval on the oil .?

Years ago I installed some sub panels even one for my pool equipment had no clue not suppose to bond the N&G everyone of those sub-panels was bonded. Lucky for me I did have enough sense to pull a ground and neutral wire to them. It was a simple procedure to add a grounding bar and moving all the ground wires to the bar. Just to confirm how bad that is before I did anything I flipped on my pool light put my current clamp around the ground wire that returned from the pool light .24 amps flowing through the ground wire from the pool light. After I moved it to it's own ground bar no longer did it have any current.

Does this apply to a 2003 also???

Great info. I have the same problem (6 weeks after warranty was up). Went to purchase replacement module at my local BMW dealer parts department. Shop foreman tells me even though I’m replacing with the exact same BMW OEM part, it will have to be programmed @2.5 hours.

Question: At the beginning of the video he was under the car, pointing to the hose that needed to be removed. Around the 11:00 minute mark the plug with the schrader valve is seen in the engine bay. What is that hose connected to? The intercooler?

That tray says 4500 lbs?? There is no way in hell I would put 4500 lbs on 4 pinpoints on the inside lip of the lift. That lip isn't strong enough to put 4500 lbs esp on rollers that put pinpoint pressure and can easily bend that lip. Notice how the bendpak distributes the load along that lip. There is a reason why they did that.

Thank you so much! ....However the rear facing bolt.....I'm not there yet but do you have any cheats from experience on how to best get that off? It seems like it will unscrew pretty far back into the compartment? What if it's stiff and doesn't want to come loose?

Doing all this to my 65k mi. 2003 996TT this week. Taking it slowly. Plugs and new coils done. Drive belt off and water pump and thermostat preventative replacement next. Am retired, so have plenty of time. Thx for your video Clint, it helped, as did other videos on the subject. $aved thou$and$.
